Love Zeiss!

So my new obsession has been the Zeiss lenses with my Canon 5D, especially now that my son is around for plenty of inspiration. The quality and depth of these lenses is simply amazing and always delivers a beautiful photo.

Here are just a few samples…

The amount of detail that the 50mm lens gives is simple amazing.

You really see it in this pic.

If you are looking to up your build up your gear box, definitely recommend heading down the Zeiss road. Not only are their lenses reasonably priced, but they deliver in every aspect on the word!

One of my favorite kinds of shoots are weddings. There are some photographers that shy away from these big important events, and I understand why… it’s a lot of work and detail put into each photo and moment, but I absolutely love it. Brian and Ashley’s wedding was no exception. The careful detail they took in each bit of their day was overwhelming and incredibly sincere. As a photographer you have to just capture the moment and seize it, but it was tough not to get emotionally involved and a shed a tear or two (or 10…). It was truly a beautiful wedding… here’s a little sample of the thousands of pictures we took. BTW… first time I had my husband help me on a shoot and he was amazing!

For my photographers out there, I used a Canon 5D with a Zeiss 50mm f/1.4. And the pictures you see, little to no photoshopping. This was my first time really using this lens and it’s truly incredible.

Had the awesome pleasure of doing some behind the scenes shooting for UK band The Feeling. The day was absolutely gorgeous and the location (Sable Ranch at Santa Clarita, CA) was perfect! Here is just a sampling of what was captured.

This past weekend I had the absolute pleasure of taking engagement photos for Janelle and Firas. This lovely couple and I went all over Santa Monica and found nooks and crannies to capture the moment. I felt like I was spying on them a little. The day was extremely gloomy, but we found pockets of sunshine to fill the air. Enjoy!

Absolutely loved what this wall said and we were able to sneak a few pics of them having a tender moment…
